Resources and Budget Table salt, canter, and a frig.

increase size
Time Line:It took me two days to do the experiment because i had to freeze them first and that took the rest of the night to freeze and the next day I started the experiment.
Background Research: The tap water melted faster then the salt water and my reference was online and to book and what I knew
References
Detailed Procedure step1 get to glass and it has to be glass, step2 put water in the glass and put a half a cup of salt in one and leave the other alone, step3 let them freeze overnight.

Data Analysis
Conclusion: my data is for what melts faster the salt water or tap water. I found that the tap water melted faster then the salt water so instead of putting salt in the water you should live it alone and let it melt on it's self.
Discussion
Benefit to Community and/or Science fair: I am doing this for a science fair at school and a reginel science fair and this project was kind of easy and you should get the point you just need two glass cups, salt , and a freezer and you can get started on the project but they have to be thawing first.
Abstract: my specific question was can salt water melts faster then tap water. salt water does not melt faster then tap water salt water melts slower I said the salt water would not melt faster then the tap water and I was right and if you do not trust me look online. The results show that the tap water melted faster then salt water.I am going to start with two glass cups.In one I will use tap water and the other I use salt water. I will put them in the freezer and let them freeze overnight. once I take them out I will then set a timer for an hour to see which one melted faster the tap water was faster then the salt water.
